These parasites travel to the liver, multiply, and re-enter the bloodstream, where they invade red blood cells and cause the typical symptoms of malaria. Lifecycle of Malaria Parasite: 1. Mosquito bite injects parasites into the blood. 2. Parasites multiply in the liver. 3. Infected red blood cells rupture, causing illness. 4.
